What does a postpartum doula do?

Being your postpartum doula is like sprinkling magic pixie dust in your home that makes stress, judgment, sleepless nights, laundry, and dishes disappear. As your postpartum doula, I can:

• Handle the laundry

• Prepare meals and help with meal planning

• Wash dishes, bottles, and pump parts (and sterilize as needed)

• Tidy up common areas of your home

• Disinfect kitchen countertops 

• Assist with baby care and provide instruction on baby care methods

• Provide information from trusted resources including those from providers in the Richmond area; and so much more.

  I also value listening to you, so, if you’d like to, we can chat about your baby and process your pregnancy and birth experience.
